Caring For and Cleaning Your new Kuyban loafers

Your new Kuyban loafers are made from genuine Colombian leather, calf suede, and nubuck, which are naturally resistant to small amounts of water. Please avoid jumping in deep puddles or walking through mud; rain is not a big deal yet Kuyban Loafers are quite delicate shoes. Whenever possible please give your loafers a gentle brushing with a soft cloth, or with a rubber, suede or nubuck brush. This will loosen any dust or small amounts of dirt that might have attached to the loafers. It is best to brush your loafers in one direction only. When not wearing your Kuyban loafers, please keep them in a dry place, they will air out on their own.

Cleaning your Kuyban’s

Kuyban loafers are made from either genuine Colombian leather: Calf suede and nubuck. Calfskin suede is one of the finest suede’s in the market therefore, is a material that should be cleaned gently. Kuyban loafers should never be put in a washing machine or a dryer; instead please use a wet cloth with either lukewarm water or for best results, use sparkling water. You can use a soft brush for scrapping. To dry, place your Kuyban’s in the shade, away from heat or direct sunlight and allow drying out slowly to retain the soft, ideal finish.

Calfskin suede footwear does stretch mildly after wearing out; therefore, if your calfskin loafers feel a bit snug, don’t panic, give them a few walks. Once the loafers are dry, lightly brush the cleaned area with suede, nubuck, or a rubber brush. Brush in one direction only. If you follow these directions, your Kuyban loafers will look even better and far more interesting for years to come!
